After breakfast goes for morning game drives in Mikumi National Park with packed lunch boxes. You will relax before going for afternoon game drives with overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp

The landscape of Mikumi is often compared to that of the Serengeti. The road that crosses the park divides it into two areas with partially distinct environments. The area north-west is characterized by the alluvial plain of the river basin Mkata. The vegetation of this area consists of savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm. In this area, at the furthest from the road, there are spectacular rock formations of the mountains Rubeho and Uluguru. The southeast part of the park is less rich in wildlife, and not very accessible.

After breakfast, you will drive to Morogoro for packed lunch boxes and drive back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped at the airport for your outbound flight or dropped at your hotel or dropped at the airport for your home flight or extension to Zanzibar

Amazing, memorable safari.

17 March 2020

Our safari surpassed all expectations. It was planned to suit our needs, with good communication and service in the run up to the trip. The trip itself was superb in every way from beginning to end. ...Laban was an outstanding guide: welcoming, punctual, accommodating and supremely knowledgable, with an uncanny ability to seek out and identify animals and birds. We spotted 80 species of bird in 7 days. He went out of his way to keep us comfortable, took care of everything we needed, and navigated some very challenging flooded roads without problems. We saw every animal we hoped to see, many of them far closer than we expected, and even saw a serval in the middle of the day, which we wouldn't have spotted had it not been for Laban's eagle eyes! The vehicle was completely fit for purpose and kept spotless throughout, and the accommodation exceeded our expectations, with friendly, attentive staff everywhere we went. Our hot air balloon experience is something we will never forget! I would highly recommend Tanzania Kenya safari.

Last November I decided I wanted to celebrate my big 35th birthday with a safari in Tanzania and my dad onboard. I was looking for a father-daughter adventure of lifetime and that's exactly what we got!
