On arrival at Dar- Es Salaam airport you will meet and greet by our representative transfer you to the hotel in the city center, Dar- es Salaam Serena Hotel for dinner and overnight

In the morning at 0800hrs pick up from your hotel from Dar es Salaam or Dar International Airport for your flight to Selous Game Reserve with packed lunch that you will have on the way. You will arrive in the Reserve in the late afternoon if time allows you to do Sunset game drives, dinner, and overnight at Rufiji River Tented Camp. FB

Located in southern Tanzania and far from the madding crowds, the Selous Game Reserve is Africa’s largest game reserve and one of our favorite wildlife viewing areas. It really is a hidden gem! The rivers and lakes of the Selous are the lifeblood of a park that hosts some fabulous games, including elephant, wild dog, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and fantastic pride of lion.

Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Selous game Reserve with Sunrise. Mind you that Selous G.R is larger than Switzerland and Denmark, that reserves largest population of elephant in Tanzania as well as large number of buffalo, Hippo and Wild dog, others are Lion, Eland, bushbuck, giraffe, impala, baboon, zebra, Crocodile, greater kudu and is the chance to see the rare Sable antelope. Breakfast at 0845hrs in the camp; thereafter proceed with game drives, all meals and overnight at Rufiji River Tented Camp. FB

Breakfast in your accommodation then launches a walking trip in the wilderness accompanied by an armed ranger guide who will guide you on walking to get close to the animals for fine pictures. You will have a hot lunch in your accommodation before the drive takes you to Rufiji River for an afternoon Boat tour. Evening the drive will take you back to your Camp Rufiji River Tented Camp for dinner experience and overnight. FB

After breakfast departs from Selous for Morogoro, arrive at Morogoro Hotel for late lunch, dinner and overnight.

We have research on the standard of the road, and the road is bad for a long day driving. We highly recommend staying for a night on halfway to shorten the distance.

After breakfast, check out and with packed lunch launch journey to Ruaha National Park where you will arrive in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure at Ruaha River Lodge, FB Ruaha National Park is the largest national park in Tanzania. The addition of the Usangu Game Reserve and other important wetlands to the park in 2008 increased its size to about 20,226 square kilometers (7,809 sq mi), making it the largest park in Tanzania and East Africa. The park is about 130 kilometers (81 mi) west of IringaThe park is a part of the 45,000 square kilometers (17,000 sq mi) Rungwa-Kizigo-Muhesi ecosystem which includes the Rungwa Game Reserve, the Kizigo and Muhesi Game Reserves, and the Mbomipa Wildlife Management Area.

The name of the park is derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its southeastern margin and is the focus for game-viewing

After breakfast, dedicate this day in Ruaha Ruaha National Park, for morning and afternoon game viewing to look for Roan and Sable antelope, Hippo Crocodile, waterbuck, Reedbuck, and Buffalo venture to the river’s edge to drink, attracting the attention of Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dog, jackal and many more antelopes include Dik-dik.

Walking in the wilderness includes a visit to one of Africa’s most important historical sites. The stone age ruins at Isimila. There are many birds in the park including Eurasia migrants that come to visit the park twice a year. You will have all meals and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge, FB.

After breakfast, then check out from Ruaha and travel to Mikumi National Park with packed lunch and game viewing on the way. If time allows, go for game drives in Mikumi National park, dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp FB The landscape of Mikumi is often compared to that of the Serengeti. The road that crosses the park divides it into two areas with partially distinct environments. The area north-west is characterized by the alluvial plain of the river basin Mkata. The vegetation of this area consists of savannah dotted with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palm. In this area, at the furthest from the road, there are spectacular rock formations of the mountains Rubeho and Uluguru. The southeast part of the park is less rich in wildlife, and not very accessible.

– At 0600hrs walk up for early morning, game drives in Mikumi Park, at 0800hrs back to the camp for breakfast.

After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam with picnic lunch on the way where you will arrive in Dar in the late afternoon.

Amazing, memorable safari.

17 March 2020

Our safari surpassed all expectations. It was planned to suit our needs, with good communication and service in the run up to the trip. The trip itself was superb in every way from beginning to end. ...Laban was an outstanding guide: welcoming, punctual, accommodating and supremely knowledgable, with an uncanny ability to seek out and identify animals and birds. We spotted 80 species of bird in 7 days. He went out of his way to keep us comfortable, took care of everything we needed, and navigated some very challenging flooded roads without problems. We saw every animal we hoped to see, many of them far closer than we expected, and even saw a serval in the middle of the day, which we wouldn't have spotted had it not been for Laban's eagle eyes! The vehicle was completely fit for purpose and kept spotless throughout, and the accommodation exceeded our expectations, with friendly, attentive staff everywhere we went. Our hot air balloon experience is something we will never forget! I would highly recommend Tanzania Kenya safari.

Last November I decided I wanted to celebrate my big 35th birthday with a safari in Tanzania and my dad onboard. I was looking for a father-daughter adventure of lifetime and that's exactly what we got!
